Willow Court Audio
Today I've put up the pre-order for the first release on my tape label Willow Court Audio on bandcamp. It's a cassette edition of my (previously only digital) AB Lundberg album Space Wars Vol. 1 and contains 2 bonus tracks. I plan to make a few other choice albums (both old and new ones) from my output available in physical form on this label in the near future. It's a really small scale affair, and the editions will be limited. I have decided not to go for numbered editions at this stage, but suffice to say that the editions will likely be in the range between 25 and 75 copies. The tapes are all dubbed in real time straight from the masters in Logic.
The tape edition of Space Wars Vol. 1 comes on a yellow C40 ferric tape housed in a matching (well, almost) yellow library case with an insert printed in black on red 130 gram paper.

Apple Reveiled Iphone 5C In 5 Different Colours With A6 Chip
Apple unveiled its latest addition to its Iphone series with different colours in the shape of Iphone 5C in numerous colours with 4 inches of Retina display, IOS 7, A6 chip that found on Iphone 5. The phone itself doesn’t varies too much from Iphone 5 except its available in different colours
Display
Iphone 5 supports 4inch Retina Display that supports 1136 x 640 resolution with 326 pixels per inch which seems to me similar to Iphone 5 & Iphone 5S. This display seems to me backward integration from Apple as now we can see 1080p devices on many Android devices with higher pixels per inch and one of the great example is Htc One and S4.
Hardware:
Iphone 5 is powered with A6 chip which gives you CPU and graphics performance similar to Iphone 5. A6 consist of 1.2 Ghz Dual Core clock speed with 1GB of ram and 543mp3 gpu that makes Iphone 5c similar to the speed of Iphone 5.
Design
Iphone 5C is made of plastic from the back in different colours and to make life more colourful its available in five different colurs White, Yellow, Green, Blue and Pink and measures 124.4 x 59.2 x 8.9mm and only weighs 132 grams. I am not impressed with the design of this phone because its taller, wider, thicker and heavier than Iphone 5S and even as compared to Iphone 5.
Software
Iphone 5s is integrated with IOS 7 with iOS 7 takes full advantage of the advanced technologies built into iPhone — including the 64-bit A7 chip and Touch ID. And it introduces great new features like smarter multitasking, AirDrop and Control Centre.
Internal Storage
Iphone 5C comes up in 2 variants 16GB, 32GB to save more contents on your phone.
Connectivity
The Iphone 5s packs 4G LTE connectivity with Bluetooth, Wifi, GPS, AGPS, Wifi Tethering and packs all other connectivity options that we have on Iphone 5.
Battery
Iphone 5C has 1440mAh battery which is similar to Iphone 5
Camera
Iphone 5s has 8 mega pixel camera at the back and on the front we have 1.2MP camera.

To give my final verdict we are going to use a SWOT analysis below
Strength
Iphone 5c is available in different colours. However i don’t know whether its going to make a big impact through its hardware to customers or not as it has same specs that we have on Iphone 5.
Weakness
One of the weaknesses I have found in Iphone 5C is its build quality and hardware which seems to me out dated as compared to other device at a price tag of 400 to 500 pounds.
Apple Unveils Iphone 5S With A7 Chip & Finger Print Sensor
Apple unveiled its latest addition to its Iphone series in the shape of Iphone 5S in White, Black and New Gold Edition with 4 inches of Retina display, IOS 7, A7 and M7 Chip with Finger Print sensor. The phone itself doesn’t varies too much from its predecessor Iphone 5 except some exciting features.

Iphone 5s is powered with mighty A7 chip which is 1.7Ghz Dual core and gives you CPU and graphics performance up to 2x faster than the A6 chip which is in Iphone 5. A7 makes iPhone 5s the first 64-bit smartphone in the world — that’s desktop-class architecture in a super-slim phone. And because iOS 7 was built specifically for 64 bit, it’s uniquely designed to take advantage of the A7 chip. Apple also make a wise step by putting in a new M7 coprocessor which is like a sidekick to the A7 chip.
It’s designed specifically to measure motion data from the accelerometer, gyroscope and compass, a task that would normally fall to the A7 chip. For example if we are using a fitness apps that track physical activity it can access M7 coprocessor without constantly engaging the A7 chip and in result give less burden to battery. Moreover, M7 knows when you’re walking, running or even driving. For example, Maps switches from driving to walking turn-by-turn navigation if, say, you park and continue on foot. Since M7 can tell when you’re in a moving vehicle, iPhone 5s won’t ask you to join Wi-Fi networks you pass by. And if your phone hasn’t moved for a while, like when you’re asleep, M7 reduces network pinging to spare your battery.
Design
Iphone 5s has crystaline diamond edges which shine under the light and looks attractive. On the back we have aluminium with ceramic glass at the top and bottom same material that used on mac books by Apple. Apple has also upgraded their Iphone home button with Finger Print Sensor that allows users to lock and unlock their phone by reading their thumb impression. Moreover, on the back of Iphone 5s Apple has inserted dual led flash to make a good use of 8 mega pixel camera in low light condition.
Software

Light is a key factor in getting a great photo and thats why Iphone 5s equipped with Dual LED flash instead of singe LED Flash on Iphone . The new iSight has a 15 per cent larger sensor which takes bigger pixels photos, measuring 1.5 microns and an aperture of ƒ/2.2.
Final Verdict
To give my final verdict we are going to use a SWOT analysis below
Strength
Iphone 5s packs a powerful A7 Chip which consist best Graphic Processing Unit that you find in a mobile until now. It has also got elegant design wih Finger Print Sensor with improved camera pixels resolution
Weakness
One of the weaknesses I have found in Iphone 5s is its display which seems to me out dated as compared to other 1080p devices like S4 and Htc One. Camera is also a disappointment for some people as users were expecting 13 mega pixel camera instead of 8 mega pixel camera on Iphone 5s.
Threats
The biggest threat to Iphone 5s is Sony Ultra Z, Note 3, LG G2, S4 and many more because all of them have 1080p display plus they have powerful Snapdragon processors on them.
Sommet
I couldn't resist making a short stop at Kollaps records in Stockholm this last Saturday on the international Cassette Store Day. I didn't pick up any of the CSD specific releases but went away with two tapes nonetheless. One of them was the tape version of the self titled album by Sommet, that I had been contemplating getting for a while. This concept album focused on Mount Everest consists of seven thematically named instrumental tracks of quite accessible synthesizer music. There's obvious links to the nostalgia soaked tunes of the Ghost Box camp and various incarnations of early eighties library music. It's sometimes quite simplistic in nature, but Sommet manages to make it work beautifully. After a few days listening to this I'm very impressed. The tape edition (of only 50 copies) seems to be sold out at source (though if you're in Stockholm, Kollaps seem to have one copy left) but there is a vinyl edition and a cd edition available from Desire Records. So if you're into Ghost Box, Steve Moore or the more melodic side of kosmische be sure to check this one out.
Maurizio Bianchi on bandcamp
Part of the allure of the slightly eccentric italian noise pioneer known as Maurizio Bianchi or simply M.B is the difficulty in getting hold of his work. Both because his back catalogue, at least the privately released tape part of it, is a bit hard to survey, and the lack of authorized downloads and more commonly available editions on cd, vinyl or cassette. However with the launch of the At War With False Noise bandcamp page recently their 2CD compilation of the Computers S.P.A. and Com.SA tapes is available to stream or buy at a very reasonable price. Both cassettes were partly released on the Vinyl on demand box set Archives in 2006, but are here given a full release in all their glorious 2 hours worth of vintage noise drones. As with many early M.B. releases the tracks seems to be 2 channel recordings panned hard right and left. Some of the early M.B.s stuff is quite contemplative in a dark ambient kind of way, but this one is much more confrontational and well, quite disturbing. If you're after the more murky ambient stuff go hunting for The ACVI tapes box set or the AWWFN 2CD edition of Technology 1&2 on Discogs. But if you're interested in the origins of noise and industrial be sure to check out the stream of Computers S.P.A/Com.SA on bandcamp, and you'll probably find you'll want to order a copy before they run out.
Samsung Unveils Note 3 With 5.7 inches Of Display Powerful Snapdragon 800 With 2.3 Ghz Processor And 3gb Of Ram With 13 MP Camera & Leather
Samsung unveiled its latest addition to its Note series in the shape of Note 3, with 5.7 inches of display and Snapdragon 800 processor with 3gb of ram. The phone itself doesn’t fit in a phone category neither in a tablet category and it’s better to give it a phablet category like Galaxy Mega 6.3 launched by Samsung and Sony Xperia Z Ultra 6.4.
Display
Note 3 packs Super AMOLED display that runs at 1080p resolution that is without any doubt better than its predecessor Note 2 and Galaxy Mega 6.3. It packs 386 pixels per inch which seems to me better than its rival Xperia Z Ultra, but not as good as we have seen on LG G2.
Hardware:
Samsung Note 3 is powered with mighty Snapdragon 800 processor with a 2.3 GHZ clock speed and 3gb of Ram, this is a best clock speed you can have in your mobile until now with 3gb of ram. Note 3 have powerful Adreno 330 GPU same Gpu that we have on LG G2 and Xperia Z Ultra to push all the power for gaming and graphics. Hardware is one of the strength in this mobile as it introduces you to most powerful Snapdragon 800 with over clock cpu speed with 3gb of ram.
Design
Despite the fact Note 3 sports 5.7 inches of display the Note 3 is thinner and lighter than Note 2, measuring 8.3mm and weighing just 168g. However, it’s not easy to handle Note 3 in one hand due to its massive measurements unless you have giant hands or fingers or if you are comparing it with Xperia Z Ultra. It's set in a textured, leather-effect rear edged in fake stitching. Perhaps stung by the criticism aimed at the cheap-looking glossy plastic of the Galaxy S4 and its predecessor, Samsung is obviously going for the premium look of an expensive wallet, and, coupled with the classy metal rim and let see does its going to work or not.
Software
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 comes up with Android 4.3 and runs Samsung Touchwiz with a same feature that we have on S4, like air gesture, air view, smart scroll, smart stay and many motion sensors that we have on S4. However Note 3 is accompanied by Spen with some of the additional features as compared to Note 2 to make Spen more productive than its predecessor.
Internal Memory
There's 32GB of built-in storage, while a microSD slot will add upto 64GB if needed.
Connectivity
Note 3 packs 4G LTE connectivity, HD Voice along with NFC, Bluetooth, Wifi, GPS, AGPS, Wifi Tethering and packs all other connectivity options that we have on S4.
Battery
Note is equipped with removable 3200 mAh battery which seems to me better than Xperia Z Ultra and LG G2.
Camera
Note 3 has 13 MP camera at the back which is capble of recording 1080p (4k) videos from it and supports HDR for both stills and movies with Dual shot mode like S4 Camera with single flash. On the front of Note 3 we have 2 Mega pixel camera similar to Xperia Z Ultra and LG G2.
Final Verdict
To give my final verdict we are going to use a SWOT analysis below
Strength
Note 3 packs a considerable beautiful 5.7 inches display with a superior design, better camera and strong processor than its predecessor.
Weakness
One of the weaknesses I have found in Note 3 is its build quality for some of the users and unrelated software features which people think slow down a device and doesn’t make any good use for them.
Opportunity
3gb of ram is the biggest opportunity Samsung can avail by introducing a Snapdragon 800 processor in its new flagship.
Threats
The biggest threat to Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is Xperia Z Ultra, Htc One Max and LG G2, as all of them packs Snapdragon 800 processor.
Note 3 is expected to fall on shelves on 25th September with bang.
